WAW003 – 1/72 – Sturmgeschutz III 0-Serie

The general design of the assault gun Sturmgeschutz 0-Serie Auf Pz.Kpfw III Ausf. B (2/ZW) did not deviate from the traditional German solutions employed in armored vehicles of the World War II. The assault gun STUG 0-Serie consisted of the following main assemblies: the armored hull (Panzer III Ausf. B tank), superstructure made of non-hardened steel, armament, sights and observation instruments, engine with fittings, power transmission system, fuel tanks, steering system, chassis with suspension, electrical system and communication equipment. At the front of the hull, the driver compartment was located while behind it the fighting compartment covered with the superstructure was arranged. The engine compartment was found behind the fighting compartment (separated with a thin metal wall).
